Autonumerology is recognising letters and numbers on number plates as words.
An example would be 84TH – in autonumerology this would read “BATH” as 8 and 4 look like B and A respectively.
Autonumerology began in the late 60s and was founded by Noel Woodall who went on to write many number plate books and remains an authority on number plates to this day.
